Who is Kris Cramer?

I'm a thirtysomething writer, a lover of books, philosophy, mythology, music, psychology, history, and… Well, as they say, the list goes on.

I spent several years providing screenplay analysis and coverage on a freelance basis, have written many screenplays of my own, and optioned the rights to one of my screenplays to a Canadian production company. I've recently ventured into novel-writing and find I thoroughly enjoy the freedom offered by that format. I am currently neck-deep in two projects — one novel and one screenplay.

What is the purpose of this site?

I created this site as a way to introduce my writing to readers, to network with other writers and filmmakers, and to share with aspiring writers any tips or techniques that are successful for me. I'll state up-front, I'm not a publishing guru or expert. There are many blogs written by literary agents and film producers where you can find an abundance of valuable information about the industry. I'm simply a writer who loves to write, and this blog gives me another place to do exactly that.
