Who is Kris Cramer?

I started off my writing career as a screenwriter and spent several years working as a freelance script consultant. I've written many scripts of my own, and optioned the rights to one of them to a Canadian production company. I've also worked as an editor of textbooks and study guides for an educational materials company.

I still love screenwriting, though I've recently turned my focus back to my childhood dream of writing novels.

What is the purpose of this site?

I created this site as a way to introduce my writing to readers, to network with other writers, and to share with aspiring writers any tips or techniques that are successful for me. I'll state up-front, I'm not a publishing guru or expert. There are many blogs written by literary agents where you can find an abundance of valuable information about the industry. I'm simply a writer who loves to write, and this blog gives me another place to do exactly that.
